SGMM

The Society for General Music in Massachusetts was developed by Massachusetts general music teachers working to expand the opportunities for all general music teachers and students in Massachusetts. Members of MMEA are automatically members of SGMM. Opportunities brought about by SGMM include the SGMM Task Force, a panel that will offer help and support to general music teachers, increased visibility for general music teachers at All State Conferences, and the General Music Festivals, where students grades 3 - 8 can come together for a day of music making.
