Save the Lowell Mason House !
--- Urgent Appeal ---
The Lowell Mason Foundation
is seeking to raise $50,000 to save Lowell Mason's
birthplace.
This historical house,
located in Medfield, Massachusetts, is threatened
with demolition to make way for new development.
The cost to move and secure this treasure is
$50,000 and time is running out. We need
your help! Our plan is to work with preservationists
and music educators to renovate and expand the
house, which will be used as performance and
education space, for music enrichment programs,
and music association offices. It is our
hope to create a Lowell Mason Museum and to
showcase the early American architecture and
construction of the house. Donations can be
made online at
www.lowellmasonhouse.com
or checks can be made payable and sent to
Medfield Historical Society
/ Lowell Mason Fund
