MMEA, the Massachusetts Music Educators
Association, in affiliation with NAfME, the National Association
for Music Education, is pleased to present our annual All State
Conference and Exhibition on March 1, March 2 and March 3, 2012,
at the Seaport Hotel located on the scenic waterfront of Boston,
MA. This years conference, In the Now, Prepare the Future,
Preserve the Past!, will feature keynote speakers Edwin Gordon,
noted music educator and theorist, and Michael Butera, Executive
Director of NAfME.
The annual All-State Conference
features more than 130 sessions, 6 concert hours, 8 casual
concerts, and is attended by more than 1000 music educators and
500 of Massachusetts top student musicians performing band,
orchestral, jazz and choral works.
The All-State
conference presents a unique opportunity for you to present your
products and services to a dedicated and captive audience over
the 3-day event. Exhibitors can look forward to a Spotlight on
Exhibitors Coffee scheduled for Thursday morning. Colleges and
universities have their own dedicated exhibit area a great
place to meet students! This conference schedule will have
additional dedicated times for our exhibitors to present in a
workshop session. If you would like to spotlight your goods and
services in a presentation/clinic this year, please contact the
conference coordinator, Libby Allison,
libbyallison@mac.com, to
schedule a session. These sessions will only be scheduled for
our exhibitors.
Exhibit space will be awarded on a
first-come/first-served basis and the deadline for
reservations is January 6, 2012. The nominal charge per exhibit
space (6 table is provided if necessary) is $375.00, or $275.00
for colleges and universities. To register, to
place an order for electrical hookups, and to ship materials to
the Seaport, please use the links at the
top of this page. Please note that your
registration will not be confirmed until your registration form
and payment are received. Reservations made for exhibitor space
must be cancelled by February 1, 2012 in order to receive a
refund.
The Seaport Hotel/World Trade Center offers its
patrons wireless internet access, economical parking within a
ten-minute walk, as well as convenient loading for vendors. If
